I'm Alastair and I'm currently a PhD candidate at Trinity College Dublin. My research is on the influence of comic literature on Apollonius' Argonautica (3rd century BC) and on 'humour' in epic. It is funded by the Irish Research Council. 

This blog is a place to write informally and accessibly about ancient comedy, the unexpected places it crops up in, and the things we can learn from it.
